What is dark matter and how do I detect it? How do I build a functioning quantum computer? How does the universe develop? How do I optimize modern data storage? Whether it’s about the smallest elementary particles or the vastness of the universe \u2013 the answers can be found in a physics degree program. The master’s degree program in Applied Physics (Master of Science)<\/strong> combines physics, engineering and computer science. As part of this program, you can specialize in one of five topics according to your individual interests: Data Science (either particle detecors or solid state physics), Detector Physics, Material Science, or Quantum Physics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-buttonitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-button>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

As part of the master’s degree program in Physics (Master of Science)<\/strong>, you will deepen your knowledge in the subject areas of your choice (condensed matter physics, quantum, atomic, and neutron physics, as well as nuclear and elementary particle physics).
