The Master’s degree course in Applied Physics (Master of Science)<\/strong> will be offered for the first time in the winter semester 2024.\nDuring your studies, you can specialize in one of four topics according to your individual interests: Data Science, Detector Physics, Material Science or Quantum Physics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-buttonitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-button>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

On the Master’s degree course in Physics (Master of Science)<\/strong>, you can deepen your knowledge in the subject areas of your choice (condensed matter physics, quantum, atomic and neutron physics as well as nuclear and elementary particle physics).\nIf you would like to go on to do a doctorate, the Master’s extension program, the Excellence Track, is an excellent way to prepare yourself for a career in research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-buttonitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-button>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

On the Physics Master of Education<\/strong> course, you will deepen your knowledge of physics and your second subject and further develop your teaching skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-buttonitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-button>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

The Meteorology Master of Science<\/strong> program introduces you to modern research methods. Acquire specialized meteorological knowledge in a one-year specialization phase and apply it directly in the one-year research phase (study programme taught in English).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-buttonitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-button>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

You can attend regular courses (online or on campus) and find out whether studying physics is right for you.
