To apply for the Master’s degree program, you must have a Bachelor of Education degree in the same subjects from a university in Rhineland-Palatinate or an equivalent degree from a university in Germany or abroad. Applicants with a degree that is not fully equivalent to the required Bachelor’s degree, but is equivalent to at least 140 credit points, may be admitted to the Master’s degree program on the condition that the missing coursework and examinations are subsequently acquired by the end of the first year of study.

Studying at JGU not only allows you to gain practical experience through various school internships. You will also have the opportunity to teach pupils and test your teaching concepts in our teaching and learning laboratory. If you are interested, you can work as a research assistant in our student laboratory, at our particle physics master classes and at other events (Girl’s Day, Discovery Day), supervise students, carry out experiments with them and thus gain further important practical experience.

You can apply for the winter semester until September 1st and for a start in the summer semester until March 1st. Please note: in order to apply with international documents you need to get them recognized before you apply for a degree program (more information can be found here). All further information on enrollment and the application process can be found here.
