You have a wide range of opportunities after earning a degree in physics. As a scientist, you can work in various research institutions – both in public institutions and on the free market. A physicist’s solution-oriented way of thinking is also in high demand in the financial sector and especially in management consultancies. The IT sector also offers exciting challenges, as graduates of this program are able to handle large amounts of data, model complex systems, or work in insurance companies to carry out risk analyses. As a physicist, you are a real all-rounder!

Apply for the winter semester by September 1 and by March 1 to start in the summer semester. All further information on enrollment and the application process can be found on the central JGU web pages.
